Welcome to Urban Nations' website. UN is a ministry of Messiah's Covenant Community Church in Brooklyn, New York, seeking to reach all nations of the world by reaching immigrants from those nations now gathered in NYC. So far the Lord has allowed us to bring the Gospel message to people from more than 60 different countries. We have proclaimed Christ to atheists, nominal Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists and Hindus. This is an exciting ministry worthy of your Christian interest, support and prayers.

In recent years, Urban Nations has partnered with and consulted numerous NYC churches who have sought to employ our methods. As a result, New Life Gospel, a church in the heart of Brooklyn's Chinatown has not only sponsored UN missionary-taught ESL classes (by Matthew Byrd) but have also planted an english speaking service under the aegis of Messiah's Council (regularly Exhorted by Seminarian Nicholas Kozak). These efforts have fostered broader relationships with chinese churches throughout brooklyn which in turn have presented unending opportunities; Messiah's has recently accepted invitation to teach college and carreer level Bible Study-Worldview classes at another local church. Missionary Matt Byrd has been partnering with other evangelical churches within latino communities as well, teaching ESL and college level international-student studies. In any given metro-area the world converges and the exhortation is true, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few."
